Wavnil runs a hosted MCP server. Any compatible AI agent can connect to it, with your Wavnil account or your API key, and work with your channels, posts, media and calendar.

The Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI agents use to call external tools. Wavnil’s server speaks streamable HTTP and supports OAuth sign-in with dynamic client registration, or an API key.

How to connect an MCP client to Wavnil

Copy your MCP URL
In Wavnil, open Settings > Developers, keep “Sign in with Wavnil” selected and copy the MCP URL. No API key is needed.

Add Wavnil to your MCP client
Most MCP clients accept an entry like this one. Use the streamable HTTP transport; a client that can’t sign in can use the API key version of the URL from Settings > Developers instead:

Sign in to Wavnil
The first time your client connects, it opens a Wavnil page where you sign in and approve access.

Frequently asked questions

How does an agent authenticate with the Wavnil MCP server?

With OAuth: clients that support dynamic client registration sign in with your Wavnil account, with nothing to copy. Other clients can use your API key, in a header or inside the URL. Both options are in Settings > Developers.

Which Wavnil plans include the MCP server?

All of them. The public API and the MCP server are included in every plan, from $24 a month, with a 7-day free trial.

Can an agent publish without my approval?

An agent creates, schedules or publishes posts only when you ask it to. Everything it prepares appears in your Wavnil calendar, where you can edit, move or delete it before it goes out.

Can I connect more than one AI agent?

Yes. Connect as many agents as you like: they all work with the same Wavnil workspace, channels and calendar.
